For housing needs our objective is to help the youth ages 16 – 18 that are trying to graduate, working part time and living from sofa to sofa because they have no parent to care for them and fall through our government help of Child Protective Services because of their age they are classed as an adult. Our desire is for a building that we could house them in while they graduate and complete their education, and share God’s love with them. Career Day’s offering a complete Make-Over from resume to Computer Lessons in an effort to help find Employment opportunities for those in need. Angel on the Tree program is 4 years going strong providing 477 children presents and a Box of Food to Children who would not have gotten a gift without our Angels getting picked off the Christmas trees. Recycling Center saving cardboard, paper, and milk jugs to purchase food for all of our Programs. With drop off locations in Mt. Pleasant, and Pittsburg the communities have joined together to help Stamp Out childhood hunger in North East Texas.
We are looking for groups or individuals to adopt our nonprofit organization Hope for Housing. 100% of all donations go direct to help our area homeless. We need more community support in our efforts. We are seeking financial donations of monthly or one time pledges, volunteers during fund raisers, prayer warriors to pray with us as we do the Lord’s work in helping others. Thank you for considering Hope For Housing as a mission for our community service. Won’t you please consider signing up for a pledge donor to commit once a month to make a difference for your community and receive a tax credit for the write off. If you have further questions, I would be happy to share more with you. |
